best rod and reel for saltwater bay fisging?
I’m looking for a new rod this year and could use some advice. I already have a 9 foot tsunami rod for surf, and im looking to upgrade a pole for the bay. I have a boat, and i hav some spots of docks that I fish nightly. What would you suggest? rod and reel. not looking to spend more then 300 on both. I’ve grown to like tsunami’s but what else is out there. Something not too long or too thick, but strong. prob 15-30 lbs.. about…
I will recommend to you what I recommend to anyone: a Shimano Teramar. They make one for any kind of saltwater fishing you can dream of, and are of superb quality for the money.

They make different versions geared toward fishing the Southeast or whichever part of the country you are from (Southeast, West Coast, etc) and in many different actions and power-ratings.
As for the reel, I assume you are talking spinning, in which case I would recommend a Shimano Stradic FI.
