The types of pools
A heated several different styles, each with its advantages and disadvantages and uses.

Gunite pools –

Gunite pools can also have tile, exposed aggregate or even fiberglass finishes. Gunite pools (and their cousins, shotcrete pools) are durable and can be built in any shape or size.
Pour concrete pools –
They are similar to gunite pools, but are much more difficult to build. Instead of spraying concrete material around a rebar framework, concrete is actually cast in classical forms of wood. With the rise of gunite methods, construction of concrete pools in situ is largely abandoned. In pools masonry blocks, the walls are built with concrete blocks.
Pool Styles
Play pool –
A recreational pool is usually not more than five feet. Play pools generally are built to cool off and relax, play volleyball, water sports, as well as swim
Diving Pool –
Diving pools are generally about 8-1/2 feet deep with a diving board or platform. Diving pools can be a real danger, and should be built to NSPI and ANSI standards.
Freeform swimming pool –
A free-form pool with lagoon-style pool or pool naturalist. In general, it has characteristics of the rock and is designed to mimic an oasis.
Geometric Pool –
Geometric pools usually have very straight lines oo uniform radius and are typically more traditional looking. There seems to be a change in the geometry of the pool. A geometric pool can be more formal and elegant look.
Pool –
lap swimming pools are generally narrow and long, usually more than 50 ' to facilitate exercise and swimming for health and fitness.
Negative edge pool –
Negative Swimming board to require an expert build. They are also called infinite or swimming pools. They are designed to look like the pool extends all the way to the horizon. The pools of mechanical engineering and the infinite may be compromised.
Reel –
The word spool is a combination of spa and pool. Large spas spools are usually around 12 'X 14'.
