Thorium or Shimano Calcutta?
I'm looking to get a Shimano thorium (4 of them) and wondered if tor20 is a good choice. Is there anyone here have experience with this model reel? I'm also in the line of Calcutta in place, but I can not decide. Hope you all will help me do this. Any decent rolls elsewhere Penn should know? I am new to the home and finding all the new gear. All old things are donated to children local in my neighborhood, as always (I do every 2-3 years) and drives my wife crazy! That's why I do, I can not be mad alone.

Toriumi've never had one but I had a "loan of Calcutta most of the year. Calcutta reels are yours, (with a price tag of yours! You buy an old Volkswagen for the price of 4 Calcutta! lol) go to Basspro.com and view the comments received from Toriumi. It seems Toriumi is "& Cold 'hot (as advised). I guess people really like the Daiwa "Saltist" as an option. This could be the way to go ….?? Hope this helps a little? "Later tater!
