how do i get a license in ohio to start an in home care business for the elderly?
I have done hopice care for 5yrs. My co-worker and i have built up a very good repore with hospitals,doctors,and hospice, we are getting tons of calls but can’t fill them all,a doctor told us to get a businss license so we can hire more cna’s but we don’t really know where to start ! what we provide is shift work and 24hr care. we take care of making sure all meds are given,lite house keeping,meals are prepared,we call and talk to doctors if clients need med changes.we are with client till they pass.we take care of all personal needs from brushing teeth,showering, to giving roxanol in their final days.we’ve called insurance co. and argued for our clients, so when i say we do it all i’m not kidding.we like what you do and take our jobs very seriously but our work load is getting very heavy it’s time to hire but we need to get our license or certificate before we open a office’ everything has to be leagel and we have no idea where to start help us to help others
