So you want to hire a magic plane (in London)
In everyday life, few people have seen a "magician" real world, feeling that worldwide there are 100,000 practicing this subject and even fewer who make their living from that is a fairly small number respectivly. Unless your a flyer accompanying high banquet hospitality suites or regular "companies do most likely have never experienced" first hand good magician.
Since there are no guidelines for hiring a magician who is believed to offer professional advice. Ofen I love my job and always hear the stories of horror and disappointment at events bookers corporate have found someone on the web. Bad Magic (IANS) ultimately impacts on our business that people tend to generalize and expect the magic to be the same.
Prestidigitation can really shine when performing at a high level. There are many great performers to forward the art just have to know where look and what to ask! A great wizard can get his party has spoken for many years! Book of magic books / reading thoughts acts are the best way to break the ice, his party is fun, exciting and entertaining and (thus). Magic can engage the public in a formation so that other approaches! It can be emloyed for public from 1 to 1000. Perfect for any age group or social kind of a golden wedding anniversary 18th Shoredich from the east end (E5) London West End (W1) Red Carpet and many places in between.
Type "Wizard of London will be surprised how many names appear, how to choose the right person for the job? On Paper the price, the value Classified, page rank, the words of the advertisement, recommendation or simply guess the potluck!
High 10 bits of advice to consider when hiring a magician for a party.
1. What kind of game you want?
Want hire a magician for your corporate event or private party.
The first question to ask is why exactly what I want to hire a magician? Ask yourself when they occur, what will they bring to the party? Are you planning a quiet intimate event for your closest friends and family or is this a great event sumptuous all signing and dancing? Where do you see the wizard to take his place. It is a kind of mixture or a seated dinner? Are they on stage, before dinner, during cocktail hour, coffee? Are they going to be the main artist featured or only part of the history of entertainment?
2. How many guests are present?
For numbers up to 80 / 100 1 magician usually enough to circulate among the guests for 2 hours or, at times, if the number is less than 30 years without fighting experience from an artist with depth of "quality materials" when booking for a period of over an hour. Remember, anyone can call himself a magician know if 3 or more tricks and has a website. Be sure to ask how it is edited directory! So if you have worked this type of situation before!
3. Not much worse than watching a bad magician!
If you see a magician "bad feeling sorry for them and shame on all look! (Picture of the opening round of X factor!) As a profession / art there is no margin for error, whether there are large effects of magic surprise or not! Make a reservation or a magician to entertain and surprise your guests mindreader things that never can experience New! Except on TV!
You do not want listen to this conversation!
Member of the audience laughed, "Hey mister, I can see the hole card in hand, is called a magician, do not give work day! "
Mago "I do not already paid, well … I usually escape, but does not tell the booker"!
Consider yourself how you want to judge the artists at the event. Would you prefer a tumultuous applause and stunned silence. The first is ideal 18th anniversary of the fun but perhaps not so suitable for a room full of executives.
4. Have you received a personal recommendation?
If you had a personal recommendation from a friend is always a fantastic start all you have to do is perhaps to see what they do a show either live or a demonstration. Ask them if they work as resident magician everywhere. Each wizard will tell you are the best thing since sliced bread, mages can be great fun, including many types … playboys selfish, and other emerging who cares about that article. Fortunately, makes most others out there really care about that the public and the maximum length of time and effort Ito show.
5. Testimonials and Kudos, which can justified?
Most dating sites are full of past events, some of "Joe Public" some of the rich and famous. " How do you know if they are real? Well, you can request a copy letters of support, or maybe I could send an e-mail. Maybe I could give you the background story when and how met "Famous person X" and then an account of what happened, you can return with a photo. (Some magicians have pictures on the site and never played for the star) Cheeky monkeys!
Basically, you'll know if you feel real after an initial discussion.
Your magician can be a member of the magic circle is not a warranty and will not tell you how it is right for you. Its members are amateur, semi-professional and professional. (Even in the various categories that are in the organization / Club)
Note: Some of the best magicians in the world are of a nature lover, but the lack of actual operating hours of life, which is invaluable.
6. The magician has a demo, this type of sites they have.
Is this the magician has a good professional web site? Did the current content can be a blog that shows everything later? What about video content and / or links to Youtube? Are there written describing step? (Articles / cuts) These give an indication of deep knowledge and to show the time they were acting in the entertainment industry.
What Image's site and advertising to give? Good / bad or indifferent. Would they agree with your ideals or your company? The site offers straightforward counsel to book a wizard as described in this document?
7. How secure is in a strange mix report to its customers?
First, a magician must create an immediate relationship with the public. It is even more important than the towers themselves, as if the public does not like "Them" so how can they enjoy the show? If you are a booker companies reflect on the reading you! If this is a business case is essential to have the least talk to you "Magic Man" on the phone! Ideally, you have many referrals from other blue chips and can save the articles in the press. If you find someone that you love your worth building a relationship with them and use them for any event.
The former head barman, Peter Dorelli (who worked in the Hotel Savoy in London for 40 years) answered the question "What makes a great waiter!" His answer was very simple, "would invite this person in my lounge for a cup of tea and a biscuit as a waiter …." A magician is an artist just a different medium! "It's all about having a good character to feel comfortable at all! "
8. Vibe!
Therefore, you mentioned "Mr. Magic" on the phone, He looked at the site, received a recommendation. But remember this is your case, only you know that you are inviting their wishes. Mr. Magic is "the height? Perhaps they feel they have sold about themselves? Or actually do not think conversly concerned. I hope they mix and improve the event and a great success!
Think about what kind of way they have?
Graves, comedy, cheese, smooth, avant-garde, old school, contemporary, mysterious, fast, inventive, of the road, cool, funky, grainy or silky?
Again, when we speak of "Mr Magic" refer all issues relevant information and details about your event for as many of them to the party!
9. How much does a magician of the direct costs by?
Here is a rough guide to prices in London, United Kingdom area in 2008.

À £ 450 £ 550 – You might expect a magician to get good enough for this kind of money mid-week in London and the UK
650 pounds to 850 pounds – You have a top professional for this kind of money, but to ask References guaranteed. Maybe even go see if they have a problem at work or in a residence. Go roll each artist is different! Prices for 1.5 / 2.5 hours involved.
£ 850 – £ 1,500 For this you need a first class act of a show that could be placed in a small number of people for 45 minutes an hour or even a mixed price of 2 / 3 hours
£ POA some artists charge more if the show is a high level of celebrity clients because of the pressure and the date of the event. Make sure you are certain can be met or that they represent an appropriate agent.

About the Author
Sav is the Deceptionist, London’s most-invited conjuror, mindreader and cardsharp. A close-up magician with the charm of a Rat Pack regular and the guile of Double-O agent. His abilities go far beyond card tricks, and his greatest skills are the magic of mobility and the power of brilliant performance. A chap who is going places fast!
www.deceptionist.co.uk
Doors open for the Deceptionist, and he opens minds and raises eyebrows everywhere. From the velveteen salons of the social circuits, to private soirées, casinos, poker nights and corporate events, Sav performs quicksilver conjuring that never fails to beguile.
He was born to mingle and amaze. Events light up when he slips into a room and begins working the tables. Performing at Chinawhite, Cartier Polo or Milk & Honey, and for celebrities and blue-chip brands in London and beyond, he merges effortlessly between social elites and populists alike.
Audience reactions speak for themselves. Ray Winstone’s eyebrows go skyward and he breaks into a smile. “This guy is bloody marvellous,” the actor says. Across town an hour or so later, Prince William watches a trick closely, then falls back in his seat. “It’s extraordinary,” the future King says. “Extraordinary.”

Wish $22.99 With one album under her belt previously and a large increase in her Japanese abilities (Ito is originally from Los Angeles), Wish is a strong sophomore release for the singer. Since her debut, Heart, Ito has expanded greatly in technique and in phrasing, as evidenced here. Not only that, but she’s expanded greatly in her contacts, incorporating collaborations with Micro on the lesser end (though he’s still a fairly large name) and Celine Dion on the high end. The album opens with a fairly formulaic number but gives way after a song or two to some very nice vocals from Ito in “Alone Again” that fit the song perfectly. The next song is perhaps one of the greatest marks for Ito however — she has a duet with Celine Dion (on Dion’s “A World to Believe In”) but is, amazingly, not overshadowed by Dion. They sing in turn and they sing together, but both hold their own and work together as relative equals, something of a rarity in Dion’s duets. Moreover, the song comes out well. It’s a basic ballad, but it’s a nice listen. As the album goes on, Ito dabbles in more upbeat pieces, touching on contemporary J-Urban fashions and bits of dance music, all of which are somewhat standard fare for the contemporary Japanese pop singer. However, Ito’s vocals carry the songs a little higher than the compositions and arrangements alone could, powering them up just a notch without going overboard. The collaboration with Micro (“Mahaloha”) comes out nicely, with a breezy feel to its delivery and a casual vibe from both Ito and Micro. There’s a bit of a bland spot when she takes on an electronically stuttering editing technique in “A Long Walk,” but otherwise the album continues on its path. It showcases Ito’s stunning vocals, and crosses back and forth from lighter compositions to deeper tracks. With only a few exceptions (such as the collaboration with Micro), it’s the more tempered tracks that work better. Ito has the chops to remain a serious contender in the J-pop scene for a while, and as long as she can keep developing the way she appears to be on Wish, those chops should only improve. Dream $22.99 In her previous albums and singles, Yuna Ito made a name for herself through her extraordinary ability to put together ballads with deep sentiment (and perhaps a touch of melodrama, not always seen as bad in the J-pop market). On Dream, however, Ito takes a surprising turn with a much heavier set of dance tracks. It’s something of a shame, given the quality of ballads put out on albums like 2007′s Wish. However, that’s not to say her dance music is poor at all. It is perhaps a bit hit or miss, but when it hits it tends to hit well. “Brand New World” could have been an m-flo track in another life, energetic and well-produced. “Koi Wa Groovy X 2″ sounds like a leftover piece of the Miami Sound Machine. “Love Machine Gun” is at once funky and full of basic pop chord progressions — clashing with itself stylistically but coming to a decent head. When the music isn’t good, however, it’s entirely flat. The attempt at Spanish pop with “Baila Baila” uses steel drums that magically remove the Spanish flavor and most of the energy. “Body” never quite gets off the ground. “Trust You” moves back to the ballad form that really gives Ito her power, but somehow gets too repetitive to give her room to stretch out her vocals in any meaningful way. Dream isn’t a bad album by any measure, but it’s also not quite up to the standard of quality that Ito previously set for herself. ~ Adam Greenberg |
