Interview with up and coming artist: Black Suede
Tuesday, April 21, 2009 Interview glok: Black Suede – Best of All World: The bottom of the music
Current mood: inspired Category: Music Black Suede – Best of both worlds: The bottom of the music
By: well known as Frank Black glok
Some people live for music, some people live through music .. The next big sign glok Blazin & Mafia bring is known for doing everything .. Doing things the key to the SC. Aka Black Suede 6 Stakka in the chapel is a gift to make / write music for all genres. Co-sign with the names of the likes of Jermaine Dupri and Clive Davis This is not only free agent R & B artist realistic …. Period, but is bound to succeed in the sector, with or without the approval .. That's an unbridled passion to succeed as .. Listen Now!
Glok: develop beyond the ordinary (And bright light on the state of sleep) .. Time to make southern style CaK-Lac-again .. Black Suede Homie got into the studio with me .. How do you feel today fam?
Black Suede: I'm Chillin '… Chillin '… do good.
Glok: Who is Black Suede, and how to describe what you?
Black Suede Black Suede is a way of life .. A trademark (if you want). What some fail to understand artists back in the game, is that his name is both a product and you. Therefore, you must treat it as such .. You know .. I'm here to make good music and a difference in the lives of others and the world around us.
Glok: You sound timeless style .. A mixture of great R & B Pop, Hip-Hop, (and many other genres Top 40) … When did you realize that real musicians are not limited? .. and it is possible for you to choose a favorite music genre?
Black Suede: Well, I start by saying that "no such thing as" white music "and" Black Music ".. It's the same for me. They focus mainly on R & B, but at the same time, I am a music producer, then for If successful, I should be able to make beats for many types of artists from all genres. In the process, I think I became one of most commercial musicians. And probably assume, I have no real favorite .. Good music is good music .. Right now, I mostly listen to Hip-Hop and R & B.
Glok: What's your name?
Black Suede: Black Suede The name was something I came. Since I'm relaxed and smooth .. Like Sweden .. lol. Black because I am a man dark skin .. If you can not say .. lol. But whenever I embraced .. and therefore all Shawter kick me on Saturday (lol) .. As for my name … Bell (6 Stakka) .. lol .. Well, my friends used to always tease me by the fact that I drove a Pontiac 6000 LE … Then just started calling him "my 6 Stakka (and yes, I still, the car on that date).
Glok: Can you remember the first time he discovered Hip-Hop?
Black Suede: I used to listen a lot of Hip-Hop more, but do not really know what it was until I am a little older. When I heard about Pac, Biggie, Jay and I knew that this had come to stay.
Glok: I always give artists the opportunity to reflect on their experiences (the good, the bad and the ugly) to get where they are today .. Let's play on the trip to Sweden for a while .. What was life like for you growing up in Rock Hill (shouting Cran Neely) and Columbia, South Carolina?
Black Suede: You know grown in Colombia has been pretty hard. My mom was a single mother, but it makes me and my brothers and sistas got what we needed. We did not have much but I Honestly I can say I have "Nothin 'to Somethin'" (shooting Loso) .. I am not ashamed of where I come from, and the difficulties I had to overcome .. Let me say that my autobiographical film will be even more interesting (lol).
Glok: So Hustler's this mentality that has been applied to his music in motion and you say "always" .. Are you just in the game (in the gettin locked or not)? .. or is it just the way you ride when it comes to getting do you want?
Black Suede: A little of both. Those who hear me talk and interact, do not know if I spent many hours in the street … They asked me about it .. You know, when it comes down to it, I'm proud of where I come from, because without that context .. I do not want my instinct and rigor .. Hustler's So yes, I am As above.
Glok: What are your views on the scene South Carolina Hip-Hop/Music now?
Black Suede: For now, I think some people in South Carolina are too focused on the local level .. I mean .. We have talent here, but many of them to discover, or because lack of motivation or expertise .. I, however, have made it my business to learn my craft. It .. I have read many books and listened to the many entertainment lawyers to get a understanding of how the industry really works .. Not enough to have only a good creative team .. You should also understand where your money goes ".. you know what?!?
Glok: Who would you say are your musical influences and why? "
Black Suede: Of course, I would say Akon and T-Pain right now .. They have done so much industry in the short time they were here .. I think they are geniuses of music .. To them, being able to combine R & B and Hip-Hop such as I'm really excited about my work .. So when I make my music .. Compared to see if they reach the market.
Glok: You are now in college (business and finance) Right? .. Does it promote higher education (unlike most artists today)?
Black Suede: I think, obviously, that the university is recommended but not mandatory .. I mean, there are many artists who have done well without a degree .. I in college because, after my years as an artist, yet I want to be rich, so I think that college is right for me.
Glok: Still ghost writer for other artists?
Black Suede: Sometimes I do .. (But) I do not want to be a black man if I told you that I posted .. lol .. but speaking the truth, I'm a serious composer .. I am proud to be able to put words together as well.
Glok: What you I did the most in South Carolina?
Black Suede: Let me see (hmmm) .. We have professional teams and our College teams suck .. lol .. There is not much excitement going on here .. I'd say it's good to see all the historical monuments and artifacts of war and other things .. In general, South Carolina is it really planned (it fits my personality.)
Glok: With the major label system faster than a Vegas hooker many people think it is a great time for independent artists .. What appears?
Black Suede: (lol) .. I think so, but I am almost certain that the majors have something up his sleeve to continue operating in the music industry .. For example, using the case of 360 to receive part of their income to artists outside the music industry .. Finally, bye bye, and the music industry (as we know) will .. Obsolete But the music remains.
Glok: You were the sale of its own music on the products / trunk since 2007 .. How many CD drives or have to move personally as unsigned artist?
Suede Black: "Ahh .. the man is good .. ummm .. I have no exact figure, but I would say at least a few thousand CD's (plus or minus a few hundred) .. I have to say $ 10 each, that is not "I do not feel so bad.
Glok: The major label system is that it will never be the same and produce the large number dollars and provides for independent artists tired of begging to get an agreement and rejected .. Independent artists are smarter now, and technology has provided the tools to create their own label, zoom, $, etc.
Black Suede: Hip-Hop/music industry as a whole, far from the sale of CDs and iTunes into a was .. But fortunately, there are avenues for indie artists to lead a decent life, without support staff .. Many artists are signing with Koch Records, they preserves most of its revenue album. (They split 50/50) .. The conclusion is that if you really want success … who will stop at nothing to get (STR8 up).
Glok: What is your favorite gangster film?
SWEDEN BLACK "Ahh man .. If you do not say SCARFACE (what G type right?) .. lol .. A modern cinema that I am an American Diggin 'Gangster is .. I saw a hundred times, and I can recite all the lines of Frank (sic) .. So that it is another favorite.
Glok: Obama will need the spirit of Martin Luther King, Kennedy, Roosevelt and Lincoln, as well as a hearing to meet with his vision of change of the patient .. Do you think people understand that if we are "united as a" victory for Obama will be somewhat useless?
SWEDEN BLACK: I do not think really understood this concept .. Obama won the presidency shows how far we've come as a nation, but we still have much to do .. Discrimination still hangs in the cities and many things have been said, that lets me know that everyone is not on the same page .. If we do not all leave a aside our differences and unite, we can not truly progress as a nation.
Glok Fight Card: Who do you think won in a playoff game between UFC 5 Pimpin Curly (aka 50 Cent) and director Ross (also known as Rick Ross)? .. Lil Ike Songz (also known as Chris Brown)-vs-Trey?
Black Suede: Ha ha .. aww man In the UFC, I'll have to hand it to 50 .. But I'm willing to bet money that Ross was waiting for the helicopter 50 before leaving the stage (lol) .. As for Chris Brown and Trey Seezy ?!?.. I think I'm giving Trey .. It seems he got his bell.
Glok: I'm always excited to see new faces and approval voices of well known names in the industry .. You've been congratulated and recognized music by heavy industry such as: Keith Sweat, Clive Davis (J Records) Jermaine Dupri (So So Def), to name a few .. What was your biggest achievement to date? .. industry and have all the stars that have been presented with an agreement or offers yet?
Black Suede: I have been recognized by many people (inside and outside the music industry), but I must say that my greatest achievements Today people should be randomly comes up and asks me: "I know you're .. Black Suede!" .. This means more to me than anything else. I received many looks various labels (majors and the Indies), but did not see the right package at the moment. I'm Looking for a considerable advantage, I just want an opportunity for a long-term durability.
Glok: You produce high level for some artists too .. Can you do a little name drop for us?
Black Suede: Well, produced for the Sopranos mix tape .. Nova It represents G-Unit West (you know .. Spider Loc and the boys) .. Another at the top of my head is urban heat / Universal. They have a teen pop artist pop songs they needed for me to know it all in. These are just two, but as I produced beats for many people (signed or not) that literally lose track of them .. Rather, I believe that soon I will need a discography eh (lol)?
Glok: Black Suede 6 Alias alias Stakka legitimate Superstar (Nuff said) .. For those who do not yet know unless the check www.myspace.com/6stacksblacksuede have a private listening session buy good music .. Continue beating and Thanks brother for cigars.
Black Suede: You already know .. Thanks for inviting me.

Super Ape (Japan) (Shm) $37.99 Full performer name: Lee “Scratch” Perry/The Upsetters (Reggae).Though SUPER APE was one of the first “dub” records released by Lee Perry after his move to the legendary Black Ark Studio, it’s a bit misleading to call this a dub album. Perry’s earlier efforts with King Tubby saw music stripped to its core, with all sorts of added effects completely reshaped existing songs. SUPER APE is more of a dub-influenced instrumental showcase for the Black Ark’s house band, The Upsetters, and for Perry’s latest creations and concepts. Regardless, SUPER APE is a great introduction to the “Black Ark sound” that would become so popular over the next few years and has since been well-documented on the ARKOLOGY box set.”Croaking Lizard” and “Black Vest” are both wonderful rhythms that later resurfaced in Max Romeo’s WAR INA BABYLON. Other tracks, like “Underground” and “Come Follow,” are mesmerizing, with vocals from the Heptones and from uncredited female singers. Though it may not boast some of the more out-there moments that dub can provide, SUPER APE is focused, full-sounding, and thoroughly enjoyable. It remains one of the best releases of Perry’s career. |

Super Spook – Widescreen $19.99 An aging, diminutive private detective from Harlem works to track down an elusive robber while staving off crooked cops and vicious gangsters in this largely ad-libbed, independent black comedy shot on a shoestring budget by a handful of amateur actors and filmmakers. When local numbers lady (Virginia Fields) is held up by Hi-Yo (Bill Jay) in Central Park, her daughter (Marcella Lowery) hires Super Spook (Leonard Jackson) to track the thief down. Now the closer Super Spook gets to his target, the more he starts to realize that he isn’t the only one searching for Hi-Yo. As cops and criminals alike begin to turn up the heat on the nervous numbers runner, Super Spook realizes this is one case that’s going to take some serious overtime. He may not be as smooth as Shaft, but Super Spook always gets his man. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi |

The film was also released as Force Four and appeared on video as Black Force. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi Brother on the Run Perennial supporting players Terry Carter and James B.
